Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester, New York - Nikon D300 - I was lucky with this one. Sometime later, the horse disappeared. Framing is one of the ‘everything’ in photography. The trees set this apart from mediocrity.

Marcy Cemetery, Duryea, Pennsylvania - Nikon D300 - there are a couple of more of young John Eugene in the B&W section. A strong natural light peeking through a low hanging tree sets the JE collection apart.

Cove Hill Cemetery, Gloucester, Massachusetts - Nikon D300 - one of the few captures that I have not had to touch up in any way, maybe a little saturation. I was in and out in no time. I love Judith.

Carlisle Indian Industrial School Cemetery, Carlisle, PA - Nikon D300 - The United States Indian Industrial School in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, generally known as Carlisle Indian Industrial School, was the flagship Indian boarding school in the United States from 1879 through 1918. At least 189 students were buried at the school cemetery. The deceased are among more than 10,000 students, spanning about 50 tribes, who were brought from across the United States to the school until it closed in 1918. Disgraceful.
