South Street Cemetery, Portsmouth, NH - Canon EOS 5D Mark II - I remember this tragic event. I was nine years old, soon to be ten. It bothered me for days, if not weeks. It was one of the first lessons I learned about how cruel life can be. Later that year was the assassination of JFK, which was the icing on the cake for me. Bedsheets over the head! Henry Moreau was a civilian engineer aboard the U.S.S. Thresher, specializing in air conditioning. The Thresher lost power and imploded, taking with it 129 lives. The debris rests on the sea floor, about 8,400 feet (2,600 m) below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean, 200 miles off the coast of Cape Cod.

After months of planning, in 1856, Jumper's "Hatchet Gang" raided Rockport establishments that sold legal and illegal spirits.
